SIR PLEASE TELL ME MEANS OF ONTRACTOR AND SUB CONTRACTOR. THE RATE OF ONTRACTOR AND SUB CONTRACTOR IS 2% AND 1%. SIR IT IS CORRECT IF WRONG PLEASE SIR CLEAR MY DOUBT.

W.E.F. 01.10.09 THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONTRACTOR & SUB CONTRACTOR IN RESPECT OF TDS RATES.

Yes now there is no difference at deduction rate in case of contract and sub-contract.
