i am retired person. i want to buy a car in my personal name can i claim depreciation in my name?
my house hold expenses are 4 lacs and my rental income plus pension is around 8 lacs
how much maximum deduction can i claim from my income ?

Depreciation can be claimed when the asset is used for the purpose of business or profession. In your case, it can not be claimed.
