pls. advise what percentage of depreciation should be charged to a projector attached to a computer.

05 February 2011 It is disputed issue but in my opinion, any attached to computer and can not be used without computer is computer.

Is there any decision of income tax tribunal in support of your advise. The projector in question is attached with computer whereas it can be used without computer with support of dvd player etc. pls clear my doubts on the matter. thanks

07 February 2011 Please refer (2007) 111 TTJ (Del) 498 but In my opinion, if it can be operated without computer also, then it is not a part of computer.

Pls. let me know the rules regarding selection of the cases for scruitiny. Upto what time it is presumed that the case has been assessed and can not be reopened in normal circumstances. If any case is in scruitiny, upto how many years back the returns could be opened. Also pls. adv. for how many years the books of accounts, vouchers are to be kept as record. Thanks anil

21 June 2011 Can a member of a society registered under society act to be more precise The rajasthan Society Registeration Act 1958 be employed full time in any project of the society and draw salary from the society. If yes what formalities to be completed?
