Delay in issue of form 16 due to delay in correction of 24q

17 July 2013 Hello, I am facing difficulty in issuing Form 16 to my employees since the correction process of 24Q is been taking long with the TDS CPC. I have filed for correction on May 15th while it is not yet processed by the TDS CPC. Is anyone else facing similar problem? If so please suggest a remedy so that I can issue the Form 16 to the employees to enable them file the Income Tax returns by Jul 31st. Thanks!

17 July 2013 Check the return status with NSDL enter where you are uploaded the correction return and they can tell the exact reason
