Defective return u/sec. 139(9)

I had filed ITR-7 for a Trust. However, the return was marked defective. I have filed response in return 139(9). My query is should I filed Audit Report in 10B again?

No need if the defect is technical. If legal, no harm in filing with the reason for revising the report.

Thank You Sir. The reason was technical, the details of investments u/sec. 11(5) was not furnished. Return u/sec. 139(9) was submitted giving details of investments.

if you had 10B and need to mention those dates and file correction return. Better to respond than no action on notices & communication from it dept
