Defective notice income tax

I received Defective notice. I filled all particulars in ITR but could not validate first page as a message comes give your original receipt no.The receipt no i received is 7 digits but they are asking for 15 digits. The message which comes is : Receipt no in sheet: Income details are required only for revised return. Return File date in sheet: income details are required only for revised return.I am getting stuck here as when i click on validate the same message comes again and again. Could u just help me so that i can file my corrected return u/s 139(9).Thanks
