Defective case under section 139(9) with error code 13

Sir,
actually i made few mistakes while filing original ITR with acknowledge number 457378630020115, so i revised it and again submitted it on next day with acknowledge number 457410450030115 (as filing type- revised). But they processed original one and sent me notice under section 139(9) with error code 13 (If the income has not been offered and TDS has been claimed by the assesse then it will consider as a
defective case).
Please suggest me some steps that i should follow.

you write them letter in response saying revised return already filed and give all details of revised return

Can this(letter of reply) be done online.
one more question, in case the revised ITR is also found defective,then what may be its consequences like is there any penalty for it or it will get cancelled or anything else?

1. no file manually
2. no penalty will imposed bu advisable to avoid such situation

please dont bother filing any letter. CPC doesn't take cognizance of any letter. Just ensure that revised return has been filed properly.

Sir,
In the notice under section 139(9) they mentioned that they need corrections within 15 days. So should i bother about it or leave it.
One more thing is it a offence/crime if someone has filed a defective ITR due to ignorance.

Dear Arun,
You have already corrected the mistake. So dont worry at all. The only impact of defective return is that it is not considered non-existent..thats all..
