Mr X has paid Rs 100000 for Life insurance premium for himself & also paid Rs 50000 for his spouse Life premium policy.
Mr X has claim full Rs 100000 in section 80.
so spouse of MR X can claim deduction of Rs 50000 in Section 80 C with out paying
please reply urgently

No She can not claim the deduction as the amount was not paid from her account.

Only the person who is paying the amount can claim deduction either for LIC of self, spouse and children u/s 80C

you can do one thing just transfer the same amount from wife's bank account to husband' bank account than wife can claim it.
