Deduction under 80ddb

I am a resident of Guwahati,Assam and my dependent wife is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital,Chennai for chronic renal failure (falls under rule 11 DD).Can I include the transportation cost from Guwahati,Assam to Chennai along with the medical expenditure for claiming deduction under 80DDB? If Answer is yes, then tell me how and if the answer is no,then tell me why?Please help me.

No you cannot include travel cost as expenditure.Section 80DDB says deduction is only for medical treatment.
