Hi,
Can i get deduction up to 100000/- or 75000/- u/s 80DD for permanent disability of dependent relative under deafness disease? can deafness disease covered under definition of disability?

Deduction u/s 80 DD is Rs. 50000 or 100000 for severe disability.
Defness is covered under the definition of disability.
Disability means"(1) Blindness(ii)low version,(iii)leprosy-cured (iv) hearing impairment(v) locomotor disability (vi) mental retardation(vii) mental illness.
Severe disability means a peson with 80% or more of one or more disabilities.
