Deduction u/s 80d for preventive health check-up

w.e.f.1.4.2013 Sec.80D provides deduction for Preventive Health Check-up. But what is preventive health check-up is not defined. Whether various tests like blood test, ECG test, Sonography etc.done as advised by doctor will be included in this.

Yes. as per doctor advise it can be taken and also payment by cash mode also accepted for preventive health check up under 80D
