Is stamp duty and registration charges paid for the purchase of "LAND" eligible for exemption u/s 80C ?

Land is not eligible for deduction u/s.80C. Only house property eligible

Section 80C speaks only of house property.
However, one can take a debatable view, if you plan on constructing a house on the land acquired.
