can anyone tell me whether service tax and vat paid on purchase of house property is allowed as deduction from taxable income of individual ???? (Like stamp duty and registration fees paid is allowed as deduction under 80 C)

It will form part of the cost of acquisition and as such can be added to the cost of the property.
