In my company salary is divided into three heads namely Basic HRA Conveyance Allowance
Now employees are saying that with this breakup they are unable to take advantage of deduction upt0 15000 for medical reimbursement
they are saying make one more partition for salary head under medical allowance so they could claim medical reimbursement in return
Tell me whether what they are saying is correct give exact income tax law for claiming this deduction what formalities are required from employer side if they want to claim deduction in Form 16
please clarify at the earliest with exact reference to Income Tax Sections so i could put forward the same to higher persons for implementation
