I am working as assistant professor in an engineering college, and married one year back.
this year i paid for my husband's insurance policy- different lic policies, sum up to 40,000.
can i claim this as tax deduction?
if so, what are the proofs i have to produce..

You need not to produce LIC Receipts unless asked for. Just claim the deduction in your return.
