Can you plz tell what are the Declarations required to be obtained from a Director at the time of Appointment ??

- Consent to act as a director
- Disclosure of directors interest u/s 299 – Form 24AA
- Qualification u/s 274(1)(g) – Form DDA
- In case of a listed company – disclosure of directorships, committee memberships, committee chairman ships
- Disclosure of directors’ shareholdings
- Disclosure of all particulars to be entered in the Register of Directors
- Disclosure of directors interest u/s 299 – Form 24AA
- Qualification u/s 274(1)(g) – Form DDA
- In case of a listed company – disclosure of directorships, committee memberships, committee chairman ships
- Disclosure of directors’ shareholdings

if the director is an independent director then as per companies act 2013 one needs to have a declaration of independence as well. however the section has not yet been enforced.
