Whether stamp duty is payable when Debenture is transfered from one person to another ? if so what is the rate ?

Form7C requires stamping and this varies from state to state.u'll have 2 find out from the local stamp vendor.

Thanks for the reply,Can you please guide me from where I can obtain Form 7C , also please guide me the mode of payment of stamp duty.

It is form 7B not 7C as stated u can buy the blank form or download it from mca.gov.in then get it stamped by the ROC office. Share transfer agents /stock brokers/stock exchange also keep these validated forms After filling the form u should go for stamping as stamp value depends on the value of the transfer involved.
