PLease let me know, whether the Dearness allowance is compulsory salary component for private sectors as per any act??or not?

DA IS NOT COMPULSORY COMPONENT OF SALARY.
COMPONENT OF SALARY DEPEND ON COMPANY WISE.

Thanks for your reply..the reason for asking this question is thetlast week one of the labour Department officer visited to our client office and he was telling them that "the DA is the compulsory salary component and amount of Rs.1395/- should be payable to all the employees every month - as per some acts"
