Date on split share certificates

A private limited company issued certain shares in 2004, it year 2008 the shares were to transferred to the lead company, later the shares were transferred again in Jan 2011 and were split. Now what should be the date on these split share certificates? Whether it should be the same date as in original certificates or the date of split and putting of common seal.. Please guide..

After split of one certificate at least 2 share certificate comes into picture. There 2 certificates are new certificates and date of split is the date which should be written on these 2 new certificates.
