date for filing revised return

17 May 2010 due to some error in calculation of march 2010 excise return, i want to file a revised return for march 2010. i have also filed the return for april 2010. till what time can i file the revised return for march. am i supposed to file a new revised return for april as well?

20 May 2010 Dear Sonal,
You can revise MArch-10 return with a request letter to Range as like in Service Tax it can be revised after 60days. BUT from April-10, E-filing is very mandetory so it can not be revised, provided,to the satisfaction of Range Supdt.
