Custom duty concessional rate of duty under section 25

18 January 2012 I have some questions :
1) I am manufacturer of solar modules. I
am not exporting goods .
->but i am using imported material in
manufacturing.
->whether i am eligible for concessional
rate of duty under Customs( Import of
Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty for
Manufacture of Excisable Goods) Rules,
1996

2) Can any body give the list of items which are exempt under section 25.
If not than please provide list of notifications which give exemption or show concessional rate of custom duty of different goods

23 January 2012 sir as per your suggetion i have read whole pdf file. in that file it is written that as per Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty for Manufacture of Excisable Goods)Rules, 1996. you have to take registration from AC/DC of excise.

I have already excise number. so is this registration is over and above excise registration(ECC No.).
if yes than kindly link format of application which i have to submit to AC/DC

01 February 2012 sorry i have not format, you are advised to demand it through RTI ACT,2005 FROM CONCERNED AUTHORITY.
