What is CST Rate ? Is it 3 or 4 percent?
Why is it there on some bills instead of Vat?

Present rate is 2%.
For interstate purchase cst is levied.
For local purchase vat is charged.
For interstate purchase cst is levied.
For local purchase vat is charged.

Local Rates of tax applicable to the commodities would be the CST Rates also. In the case of sale against Declaration forms (against C form) it is 2%
