11 May 2016 If csr is applicable to a company in FY 15-16, then: a. Whether activities are to be carried out and amount on CSR has to be spent in FY 2015-16 or the spending can be deferred till the date of directors report? b. If it cannot be deferred, what are the remedies available, will provisioning in the books suffice the requirement? c. To be more specific, what are the timelines suggested in CA 2013 for completing CSR activities and spending amount set apart for CSR?

17 May 2016 CSR for the year 2015-16 should be spend during the year 2015-16. Upto 31st March, 2016 the entire CSR outlay should be spended, it something remained unspend it will qualify as deficienty and and if you have incurred anything after 1st April, it will be added to the next year CSR expenditure.
