I have completed a month of CS training and have just filed a few form 32s with the MCA. This company is not a listed company.
The CS whom I am reporting to, also does not have much work. The only work that I do in this company is printing, scanning, filing, punching, bringing papers from purchase department, couriering documents etc. A completely clerical work.
I have started to get a feeling of wasting time and not doing anything productive. I am not getting exposed to any CS work.
I have just completed a month and I am not sure if I need to start making such assumptions.
I did talk to my Sir stating that I want to be more productive in the 9 hours that I am working. He said, going forward there will be work.
Please can you advice if these are the things that a trainee is supposed to do while pursuing internship?
Training includes all work you have specified, but it should be not restricted to them. The training has broad area of knowledge where the students can learn. In your company the CS to whom you are reporting has not much knowledge, then i will suggest you to leave the company and join other place where you have work for experience.

Daer the problem is not what you are doing the problem lies in the things which you are doing. I mean to say that sometimes even a CS has to do these kind of miscellaneous work like printing, punching, filing, scanning etc., so no issues with that. The main problem is that as a CS Trainee you should get some quality work which will prepare you for your future role as CS. This training concept is mainly to help trainees to enhance their knowledge and to give them a practical feel of the things. So here you are absolutely correct that you should get more quality work related to the CS Profession.
However, if I join somewhere else, do I have to obtain a NOC from my current company as my name has already been registered with the ICSI for imparting 15 months practical training by this Company.

Since your Sir has stated that he will give you more CS Related work, I will advice you to wait and see if you get more quality work rather than leaving the company just after a month. So have patience and if the scenario does not improve you always have the option of change.
