Sir We are Manufacturing co. in Chhattisgarh State and i would like to know that i purchased a fax machine for office use with vat charged in bill,can i take vat credit or not?

03 August 2010 Pls specify the relevant State. Since, in Karnataka. The input mean the purchases must be used in manufactuing of goods (indirect option is not applicable as like as Central Excise).
