Credit of service tax.

28 January 2014 Hello Experts,
We deal in agro products and we receive services of GTA. AS per rules and act we charge service tax on gta , now the qustion is can we avial the credit of input service tax paid by us like ST paid on professional fees etc. for payment of ST on GTA.
plz help me out.

28 January 2014 No input credit can be availed against service tax liability to be paid for GTA.

On the contrary one cannot even avail the input credit paid on account of GTA services, since these service is in negative list.
