the ITR for AY 2009-10 was filed on march 2010. while checking the e-filing processing status the message was # ITR Transferred out of CPC to Jurisdiction Assessing Officer in Incometax office #, pl guide what does it means and in which circumstances this step is taken by the cpc

To assist taxpayers, a limited call center service with two agents has been established at ITD-CPC, Bangalore. Taxpayer queries on status of ITR-V receipt at CPC, Bangalore will be answered on 080-43456700 between 9:30 AM to 6 PM. The service will be available in English, Hindi and Kannada.

it means cpc has transferred your itr to concerned jurisdiction for processing.
visit your concerned ward to know the status of your return. if there is any refund ,that will be given by that concerned ward.
