11 June 2014 Standing orders are used to carry out on-going maintenance jobs & settle them periodically rather than creating a fresh PM order every time. An Example: I have a category of components (materials) which I am not able to assign to job specific orders, then an option for me is to have a Standing Order and capture the cost of all such items into this.
