27 March 2010 key of the success in practical subjects like costing is practice. solve last years questions in scanner.clear your basic concepts.

27 March 2010 for clearing costing paper, you must require good preparation keeping in mind the concept aspect

Solve the problem with concept,

suppose in the case of ABC(Activity based costing) it is an advanced version of allocation of indirect expense.

There are some factors which have direct cause and effect with the indirect expense which is called Cost drivers.

The indirect expense is measured in terms of Cost drivers .

Keep a note book and write down such concept

Try to solve the problem by understanding the concept and without overly rely on the solution

Buy a good and best book rather than ICAI module with scanners and suggested answer

28 March 2010 Generally in one subject.if you are showing interest and involvement it will be very much easy.Costing is the very interesting subject and you can learn lot more not only in acdemic also a practical life.you can study with interest
