hi, i am a cwa final student i would like to know cost book keeping in an organization and what is role of a cost accountant in an organization

Role of cost accountant in an organisation is based on the department he posted. In Cost book keeping his role
Cost accountant need to ensure the maintenance of costing rules are followed properly and costing records are maintained as per the rules prescribed in the companies act and ICWAI institute which is the nature, classificattion, measurement of cost and costing methods and techniques are followed as per Cost Accounting Standards (CASs) issued by the ICWAI
also, Cost accountant can help in the costing, budgeting & Monitoring areas to the organisation
