In which cases, service tax will be applicable to us?

Your company has to register if the taxable service is exceeding nine lakh. The taxable service can be classified for construction company under commercial construction service, Residential constructions service or works contract service. Depending upon the type of servic your company is providing u have to register.

Continuing on the subject, if you decide to register also think of compounding option for which an application as per notification 32/2007 dated 22/5/2007 may be filed along with the registration documents.
