25 June 2011 No Materials are required for the study of construction industry let the materials be used by the construction industry to construct the houses.

In your case the following are essential
1)Title of the Land
2) Title Deeds of the property on which construction is being carried out.
3) Site Plan
4) All approvals from Local authorities.
5) If project is big then whether any tender has been invited.
6) If yest then comparative Chart
7) Lowest bidder has been given the contract or not if not the reasons.
8) Certification of work completed by the contractor.
7) Contract documents and its terms and condition for payment, work certification etc.
8) Retention money provision.
9) Quality of material approval
10) Utilisation of standard quantity and quality report

Besides the above kindly go through various books and also attend seminars on construction industry to up date as this is not a class room to give all the details and I am not preparing any notes on the subject.
