dear experts,
suppose, I am filling ITR from last 5 FY(all NIL return).
If this year I decide not to file ITR.
then what would be the consequences??? will IT department send notice???

They may send you a reminder stating something to the effect that last year return was filed, this year please file return on time etc.
However, if they have no information that may warrant a need to issue a notice to you, you have nothing to worry about.
