Can a private company appoint a compliance officer who is not a Company secretary?

no, as only a cs can be appointed as compliance officer.

The said company is a SEBI registered investment adviser and as per the regulations, appointment of a compliance officer is mandatory. The company has appointed a compliance officer who is not a cs, but they have not filed any relevant MCA form in this regard.. what is the probable solution now?
