29 March 2013 Can you let me know if I make an official inquiry to the Government or through a CA – or go there personally…however – what information can I get along the lines of what I've asked below... I need a conclusive answer please….

1. Can I find out about what date the company was formed?
2. Can I find out about the shareholders and company directors?
3. Can I find out about the share of each shareholder?
4. Can I find out about previous shareholders and directors?

How would I find out this information and who would I have to apply to?

I've been on the MCA website but failed to get any information till now.

29 March 2013 Please seek the help of a practicing company secretary and obtain a 'search report' especially for the matters covered in 1 to 4 herein above mentioned.

02 April 2013 Yes,a CA can and if a COP holder, he/she can issue a search report also.
