RESPECTED EXPERTS,
CAN A MANAGING DIRECTOR RESIGN AS A DIRECTOR DIRECTLY???IF HE WANTS TO RESIGN FROM A COMPANY AS IF HE RESIGNS FROM MD HE WILL STILL BE A DIRECTOR??
AND A MD IS FIRSTLY A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY B4 BEING A MD.I WANT SOME RECENT CASES ON THIS.

Hi
If a person is MD and resign from MD post then he will continue as a director of the company. In that case you will file Form-32 for change in designation of the person from MD to Director.
If the person who is a MD and resigned from the post of director, then he will autometically resign from the post of MD. He will not be any post in the company. In that case you will file Form-32 with ROC from the resignation of MD and it will autometically resigned from the company.
If a person is MD and resign from MD post then he will continue as a director of the company. In that case you will file Form-32 for change in designation of the person from MD to Director.
