Friends
Example :Mr.X is invested in ABC Company the company is closed but the company not paid any shares amount to Mr.X .
Then how Mr.X can close in his books by passing Journal entry .

Investment in ABC Ltd. must be appearing in the balance sheet of Mr. X. Mr. X holds the share certificate for these shares. Unless he receives bsck his share capital the investment will stand as it is in his books.
