30 March 2012 Can anyone please suggest me whether a Minor can be a non executive director of the Company.

Or any other way by which company can remunerate a minor.

Please suggest...

31 March 2012 minor can not become director of public company since he has to file his consent u/s 264.
however, Minor can become director (any executive or non-executive) in private company since section 264 shall not apply to Pvt company.
