19 November 2013 Is 98 sections of companies act 2013 applicable for may 2014 exam & is there any chances of delay in may 2014 exam because of elections

19 November 2013 No, there is as such no notification issued by the institute for the applicability of notified sections of Companies Act 2013 in may 2014 attempt & also for delay in exam due to elections.
Wait for the Notification of Institute.

Hi

It may be very much possibility that new Companies Act, 2013 will apply for your May 2014 attempt.

The reason is that most of the section of old Companies Act, 1956 has been abolished which has been given in your study module.

One think I want to also clarified that the new module of Corporate law will also issued by Institute in near future.

So be ready to study of new Companies Act, 2013.

The only formality is waiting of Notification in this regards.

19 November 2013 icai clarified recently that new companies act 2013 is not applicable for may 2014 exams for ca final and ipcc levels
