10 November 2009 I would like to know what is the rate of tax at which sale of coffee powder attract if it is sold from karnataka to any other state with C form and without C Form.

14 November 2009 Purchases to be effected against form C are subject to conditions. In nutshell it can be mentioned that form C can be used for effecting purchases which are meant for:
a.Resale by Dealer

b.Use in manufacturing/processing of goods for sale

c.Use in mining

d.Use in generation/distribution of power

e.Use in packing of goods for sale/resale

f.Use in telecommunication network
Thus Form C can be used for concessional rate of tax if purchase has to be made for purpose mentioned above and goods are covered in CST-RC of buyer otherwise normal rate of Tax applicable in state where sale origin would be applicable.
