Can someone surrender full time COP in 1-2 weeks of COP issue date...let's say he decides to go in full time employment ...will he just need to intimate ICAI of the facts & COP issued may get converted into Part time COP in ICAI records...?
What if someone's application for COP issuance is under process with ICAI, and in between he/she decides to go into full time employment..?

As per the Code of Ethics, a member has to intimate the Council of any change in his status. After receiving the COP, the member decides to go into full time employment. Now he should return the COP to the Institute, seeking its cancellation and a fresh application for COP in part-time practice in the proper form.
In case the COP has not yet been issued and is under process, the member may intimate the Council of his intention to go into full time employment and seeking the cancellation of his application.
