Clearing cheque of tds of died person

Dear Sir, I have filled return as a legal hair and the income tax CPC department has been issued my refunds by cheque but The income tax department CPC issued TDS refund cheque on name of died person who died before 8 year. and now bank account of died person had closed permanently. and that cause the problem is that how & where we can deposit cheque of that died person . kindly give us guidance to clear that cheque or give guidance to issue new cheque on named of legal hair. and what process to issue new cheque on named legal hair. and where I have to meet income tax official. so I can withdraw that money from legal hair bank account. pls give us best guidance above matters. thanks

You need to meet Jurisidctional AO at the earliest and he will resolve the issue by directing to u the further steps to be taken in this regard.
