Clarification about cma course duration

sir, i want to know in cma inter course what does 18 months minimum means. does it means we have to wait for 18 months before giving cma exams? also in what minimum period of time one can become cma?

18 months minimum means the duration of intermediate course, which is to complete the intermediate exams
