Your Income Tax Return has been selected under risk management process wherein your confirmation is required on the claim of refund. You are requested to submit your response in the e-Filing Portal post login by selecting either of the following options:
The claim of refund is correct to the best of my knowledge and belief
Return of Income is being revised wherein, correct claim of refund shall be made
I selected option 2 and submitted. What to do next.

There is no need to revise the return since you might have filed the ITR with supporting evidence.

Income Tax dept may send different communications.Need not bother about anything if you have supporting documents..
Just submit the reply before the time limit given in the notice

You have to file 'revised return' since option 2 is selected. Otherwise, refund will not be released.
