18 September 2012 A favourable order was passed by the Karnataka High Court in ITA No.783/2008 dt.27-8-2010. Can we get to see the Tribunal order which must have been passed some time during 2008?

18 September 2012 That was a case of interpreting the singular 'a residential house' mentioned in section 54 of the Income tax Act,1961 which was upheld by the Karnataka High Court in 2011 and reported in 196 Taxman 87 which you may verify at your end.

21 September 2012 Yes, but the High Court judgement is plain and not clear. Whereas, the Tribunal must have dealt the issue in detail and we wish to go through the order.
