What is the procedure to change of address in PAN and Change in Name. If inquired in PAN Facilitation Center, they are telling that after submitting the changes you will receive a letter from IT Department after replying only you will get new PAN. So please give clarity in this matter

Yes they are correct first you have to submit form 49A Pan Changes form with the correct proofs for your name and present address after submission you will receive a confirmation letter if you confirmed that letter then your details has been updated and send a new card with the old no.
