Dear Sir /Madam
We make payment for service tax online, now the by mistake we put the wrong accounting code, so is there any option for changing the accounting code.

As per Departments' clarification and also as per prevalent practice, service tax, even if paid under wrong code, can be claimed to have been paid under the correct code.
