Challan Payment Under Section 194JB

15 October 2021 Sir,

I have an invoice which were liable to be taxed under section 194JB@2%. But at the time of Payment of Challan under section 281, only section 194J was available for selection. Confirm how this payment can done.

15 October 2021 Yes, select the sec. 194J in challan, and pay just 2% (for sec. 194Ja) or 10% (for TDS u/s. 194Jb) as the case may be.
Choice is over tax depositor, as per his requirement.
