24 May 2010 If there is a provision in the Articles of Association of the company then Chairman can hold position for all meetings but in case there is no provision in the AOA of the company,then Board may elect a Chairman of its meeting and determine the period for which he is to hold office[Clause 76(1) table 'A' (Schedule 1 to the Companies Act,1956].
