25 July 2017 thank you sir .....in pre gst our products paper was attract paper cess at the rate of 0.125% under IDRA 1951. Is this will continue in GST also ? pl clarify

25 July 2017 Cess on Automobile under IDRA has been abolished so far.

Paper Cess should be abolished further.

25 July 2017 Thanks sir...I referred The tax law amendment act 2017 in that IDRA section 9 had been repealed. It means that the imposition of cess is removed but in your link only

26 July 2017 yes sir but they have mentioned only cess on automobile where in section 9 of IRDA itself removed under the taxation law amendment act 2017.
